2. Chewing on our Chuck Taylors
3. Chewing on our appendages
4. Licking our armpits (mine more than KM's, not surprising)
5. Slooooowly inching her way into/onto rooms/pieces of furniture when she thinks we're not looking
6. Peeing on the bathroom rug (now retired, I loved that damn rug)
7. Constant cuddling (this one is very cute, actually)
8. Licking us post-shower
9. Tearing the guts out of her favorite stuffed duck
10. Pooting. KM just suggested we re-name her Poot, actually.

Unusual activity doesn't begin to describe it

So I just got an email from my bank informing me that they'd detected "unusual activity" on my account, and directing me to call immediately. I (freaking out) did just that. Turns out they'd suspended my debit card not due to genuine identity fraud, but because I've made so many purchases at various pet depots in the past week that the system assumed I'd been robbed!

Hilarious, eh? Honestly KM's carrying the lion's share of the financial Lottie-related burden, I can't believe they haven't flagged his account. But, all this expenditure is not for naught; 7 trips, 3 stores, 2 brands of food, 2 kinds of treats, 1 crate, 4 toys, 1 collar, 2 leashes and a harness later, I think our girl is finally all set up! Now if I could just convince her to let me use the bathroom without supervision...

close a door, open a window

So I just tried to re-activate the original girlouttathesouth.blogspot only to discover that it's been deleted. I guess blogger assumed I was gone for good. This makes me a little sad, but it's also pretty appropriate to have this fresh start imposed upon the blog, as this is my first post-move post!

Pictured above: the inspiration for my return :) Michael and Miss Lottie, our newly adopted boxer mix. She comes potty-trained and appeares to know how to fetch (at her own leisure, granted).
